Yippee Skippee, I did it! My Advocare 24-Day Challenge is DONE! When I started this series, I told my husband how nervous I was. Beca e even if there was no difference – I feel good, but that is hard to get across in pictures. But ere’s a pretty big visual difference! Tota loss – 2 lbs and 2″ just off my waist. Where I started back in November (My First 24 Day Challenge) – 158lbs My waist – 37 1/2″ Now 27″
Basic Meal Plan I followed:
Breakfast - Scrambled Eggs – Mix in fresh spinach and diced peppers – salt and pepper
Snack (twice daily)- Muscle Gain OR Apples & Organic Peanut Butter or Almonds (I had the fruit on my refuel day)
Lunch – Egg Salad or use Tuna or Diced Chicken
Recipe: 2 Hard Boiled Eggs – Chopped Spinach, Yellow Peppers, Red Onion, and Tomato – The dressing is a squirt of mustard and chipotle tabasco and some of the vinegar from the pepperoncini jar
Here are some dinner options (these are not all the recipes I used this time around but ones I use regularly):
Chicken Kale Soup
Squash Lasagna
Sweet Potato Skillet
Sweet Potato Pizzas
Orange Balsamic Chicken Legs
Grilled Artichokes
Roasted Chicken
* I also like roasted veggies – add some fennel, red onion, carrots, sweet potatoes – SO GOOD!
Turkey Lettuce Wraps
If you have leftovers, use that for lunches. We also like to Cod that we season with lemon, Mrs. Dash, and a little salt and pepper
Salmon – light olive oil and Johnny’s Seasoning! We have a toaster oven, and it cooks up quickly in there!
Spaghetti – Get the Chicken Sausage from Trader Joe's and cut it out of the casings and add it to their organic tomato marinara – serve over broccoli or spaghetti squash
Chicken Salads – Dressing is vinegar from the pepperoncini jar and Italian seasonings.
Curried Chicken with Coconut Rice
If you are stuck and bored, look through all those great magazines we subscribe to – if it has cheese, ask yourself if it would be good without cheese. If t has pasta, can you substitute a veggie for it, or if they use red meat, can you use ground turkey, etc? Be eve me – I like flavor, so have fun with it. This is a lifestyle change; you will soon crave those good healthy foods your body needs.

Exercise: Insanity, Zumba, and running on the treadmill – except for Zumba,, my workouts were about 40 min a day, 4-5 times a week. In nity is six days, but you do what you can, and 4-5 days is what I can do right now.

What next?
Maintaining is the easy(er) part. I love life and want to live it. If go out to dinner and have something that is not on my food list,,I make sure that I am a good girl the other days. I have a 5/2 rule. 5 good days and two flex days, and I try not to have the flex days back to back. To ght is our home group night, and we are having pizza. Do this scare me? No ecause my metabolism is rockin', and tomorrow it will not sit in my stomach (that is what it used to do). It’s going to come out. If the jeans ever start to feel snug, I know what to do.
I will also continue to exercise, take supplements,, and do a herbal cleanse every 90 days. Spark, Catalyst, and MNS are my core products and what fill those nutritional gaps.
